LSCT Night Cycling 2006
Met Felicia and Darren at 8pm to have dinner at KAP then made our way to school as gathering time was 9pm.
Things were draggy... so we stood around atrium, talking.. crapping.
XL is crappy.
JM is scary cause he looks expressionless... I'm scared of him.
Waited and waited... we got tired of waiting...
Finally we were gathered in our assigned groups.
Most of the GLs in one group with another small group of friends.
We were group 1.. ended up being group 6.
Continue to wait and wait...
Suddenly Darren, Joel and I got High... and started singing...
Talked about songs.. the evolution of Britney Spear's songs...
and we sang... Denyse couldn't bear our singing.. >.<
Long awaited moment.
Time to set off...
We started out slow as Jie Ying wasn't very confident to ride on the road... so in the end she sat in some AGL's car.
It's tiring to cycle up slope!
Especially our school is located in such a hill area...
Cycled to Harbour front then to Lau Pa Sha for 1hr break and cycled back to school.
Joel fell a few times.. so worried for him. But he very pro, fall so many times and all he got is a little scratch on his elbow. His reactions very fast!
It was drizzling and it rained lightly... there was once when we had to cross a road with a gigantic puddle! Imagine the 'bathing water' we were given riding across the puddle.
Fortunately I was carrying my backpack... so my bag got wet instead.
Talking about bagpack.
JM was very nice.
When he was behind me, he asked if my back is heavy and offered to help me carry.

But I'm still a little scared of you.
The highlight of the entire session was...
Witnessing Daren's (OB) back wheel giving out blue sparks and smoke followed by a super load bang.
Augustine who was slightly behind me flew off his bike.
Scary!
Imagine seeing these happening?
Because I witnessed it, Daren say that I'm his jinx. Cause I see his tire puncture and saw him sink during kayaking. Oh no... I don't wish for all these to happen!
anyway...
Fortunately Augustine was alright... so was Daren.
We were already quite near school...
So we rested and headed back all the way to school conquering the King of the Hills that we had to overcome for the night.
Entire feel of the night was soothing...
The breeze and occasional drops of rain against your skin...
The comfortable silence filling your ears...
I like that feeling.
Hope Clement (SGL) is alright. Get well soon..
Went to KAP for breakfast and went him to have a good sleep...
A wonderful night adventure.
