Her story
The day started off not too badly, but I was slightly irritated by my aunt.
Because made me rush to bath and go down to the market to get things, when she could have done it herself.
So I couldn't go back to sleep...
After running errands for her, slacked around for a while.
Tried to sleep, but couldn't.
I had a not so tasty mian xian for lunch.
Rushed out of house at 1.30pm, thinking that I shouldn't make Feli wait since I tell her to reach at 2pm.
Passed by Cold Storage at United Square to buy Aloha bananas.
As I was queuing up to pay, Feli called.
Informed me that she'll be later.
I'm sorry Feli, that I sounded a little harsh and irritated.
Because I was carrying big bags of things and with two large bunches of bananas in my hand while answering your call was quite a struggle, furthermore I was feeling very frustrated due to my sleepiness. And to be honest, I was a little upset that you informed me so late that you'll be coming later... =p
Struggled my way to my aunt's place... settled down and found my way to the guest room to nap.
It felt so good to be able to sleep finally.
Got up, cause Uncle was leaving to come pick my Aunt up.
Waited alone for the cake delivery and for Christle to turn up since she promised to come earlier.
But she didn't really come too early... due to some 'problems'.
It was funny hearing how frustrated she was... because it's rare to see her show her temper.
I lost track of what time Christle, Shu Jun and NX arrived cause when they turned up at the door step, I was busy trying to fit the cake into the fridge which seem too small...
Had to remove the side slots in the end...
People started coming...
Did some very last minute preparations...
The drinks, the chocolate bananas etc...
Didn't get to be the one starting the fire this time...
My maid did it...
Fortunately many didn't reach too early, or else have to wait for a long time...
In a way it was good for guests to come later.
As agreed, Feli was in charge of PR and F&B for myself.
Weather wasn't really fantastic, but I think it wasn't too bad after all.
Because it rained a little, stopped, drizzled, stopped and it went on for a few times before it finally gave us a breezy evening.
Fortunately, the pit cover was useful to block the rain with the use of the charcoal tongs.
Got myself scalded near the crook area (near the elbow). It's still red. >.<
Rahh~ I feel thy heart wrenching.
